Antonella Barba (along with Jarred Cotter, Sundance Head, and Sabrina Sloan) is now out in the running for the AI title. She admits that it has been difficult to compete against the other good singers of this season, and it has been much more difficult with the coming out of her semi-nude pictures.

Publicity is still publicity, and I think she’s gained a lot more exposure (literally) than any other AI contestant. Because of it, she’s been getting a lot of offers. Joe Francis has openly invited her to be a host of his show “Girls Gone Wild” with a delicious $ 250,000 initial offer. We’ll see about that.

Meanwhile, Antonella is sad that she’s known for things that she doesn’t want to be known for (like a slutty whore, or something). She definitely doesn’t want to be registered in the minds of people as “that” kind of person. She even said she would definitely not pose for Playboy Magazine even if she’s offered to. She’d want to act, model, and sing, but she definitely doesn’t want to be inclined to “adult” kinda stuff.

Well, let’s just hope for the best for Antonella and the rest of the ousted AI hopefuls. There will something good for them at this point. After all, they’ve been from American Idol.
