Really Big Things for Matt Rogers

Matt Rogers, fresh from the “American Idol Extra” gig, is still displaying his gift of gab on the Discovery Channel show entitled “Really Big Things” .This is definitely far from the singing hopes that he had when he was still in AI season 3. But no one’s complaining. I think he’s having such a grand time. Afterall, being seen everywhere is better than being seen nowhere. These breaks are big and he probably deserves it.

*He was a former correspondent to: Sports College Football, Best Damn Sports Show, Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight. He’s also worked in theater and radio.

AI Extra

The second season of “American Idol Extra” is set to keep us glued on the boobtube once again starting on Thursday, March 15 at 6:30 pm ET (with an encore at 10:30 pm ET) on Fox Reality channel. This season will be hosted by JD Roberto (“Outback Jack”, “Shop ‘Til You Drop”, “Cut to the Chase”, “Great Hikes”, etc). AME aims to go deeper to show us the action that goes behind the scenes, and to help in that task are AI top 12 alums Mikalah Gordon (season 4) and Matt Rogers (season 3). Both have showed good confidence and hosting potential in past AI specials, it’s but right to give them this opportunity.

Jennifer Hudson—Living the Dream!

Jennifer Hudson is now indeed smelling the sweet scent of SUCCESS! The American Idol (season 3) top 7 finalist has finally “arrived” and she’s loving every minute. This only goes to show that the dream doesn’t end when a finalist gets cut from the AI show. There’s life after American Idol. Jennifer Hudson is one living proof that even an AI finalist can very much surpass the achievements of AI winners themselves.

Jennifer Hudson won a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award, BAFTA Award, Golden Globe, and an OSCAR award for the Best Supporting actress category for portraying Effie Melody White in the movie Dreamgirls. Wow! It’s a case of “too much too soon” but “so far, so good“! For all the hard work, CONGRATULATIONS Jennifer! You deserve all the awards :-)
