Tamyra Gray, top 4 finalist on the first season of American Idol is another AI alum who’s gonna be on BROADWAY. Although this is not her first time to be on Broadway stage, it’s just fascinating that a lot of AI alums are currently venturing into stage acting. Tamyra will be on the famous Broadway play “Rent”, joining the cast as Mimi Marquez, on May 29th up until Novemebr 25th of this year.
Tamyra was never really gone in tinseltown even after the Amercian Idol season 1 frenzy. She has appeared in several tv series like “Boston Public“, “What I Like About You“, and “All of Us“.
She also co-wrote the song “I Believe”, the finale song for the season 3 American Idol winner, Fantasia Barrino (who also stars now on the Broadway play “The Color Purple”)
Kelly Clarkson has finally released her single “Never Again” after weeks of delay. Fans have been so excited to hear the song, and now it’s finally on the airwaves. It was launched on Ryan’s Seacrest’s morning radio show on KIIS FM April 13th. Kelly admitted that “it was a big struggle to release the song…. It takes time to get everything together”.
“Never Again” is a song written by Kelly herself, and it pertains to a bad breakup that actually happened in her life. She wrote this two years ago, so se can expect that this breakup was from the same time. Ryan Seacrest asked her on the said interview if this was the most bitter song that she’s written and she said “Yes”.
For sure, this song will be a HIT, as it depicts real feelings. Girls will totally be able to relate. (or at least the ones who have been left by a lover, will be able to relate). The lyrics are stron, you can tell there were “hate feelings” when this song was written, definitely very real.
Kelly is going to be on the April 25th “Idol Gives Back” episode of American Idol…but she’s not gonna sing “Never Again” of course
