Obviously, the boys picked up from their “lousy” performances last week. With the caliber of singing they gave out last week (with the exception of a few, of course), the girls easily garnered all the praises (again, with the exception of a few). For this week, the guys are back on their toes and proved that they’re also here to win this competition.

Phil Stacey was the first to perform. Performance was good, the song was also good (I Ain’t Missin’ You), judges didn’t give the best of comments but
Jared Cotter… oooooh Jared! “Let’s Get It On”! He gave another sexy performance, even sexier than last week. Not that he stripped naked or something. Everyone who watched the show knows that there’s something in his ways that’s totally calculated, targeting the lusty viewers. (*winks)… Will
Sanjaya Malakar was again scrutinized (grilled /boiled) by the judges, except for Paula of course. I’d have to agree with Randy and Simon, Sanjaya really doesn’t have the “umph”, the spunk. I don’t understand why he can’t get this thought. Doesn’t anyone advice him to perform better? He sounds really good, and MAN! He has a lot of fans (he was top 4 at last week’s results night, what a dark horse, and that’s a compliment). If this guy keep giving the slack act,
Blake Lewis was incredible! His versatility will lead him to the top 12. He san a slow song last week, but he again showed off his beatbox talent last night when he performed “Virtual Insanity“. Great! Favorite performance for this week! Check this video:
Chris Sligh was the sweeeeeeetest and funniest guy last night. He dedicated his song entitled “Trouble” to his wife. The lyrics of the song is totally opposite from the title, it’s really sweet. He san the song nicely, and scored some good points from the judges and hopefully from the voters. Nonetheless, I’m sure he scored some HANDSOME points from his wife. Good work, Chris!
Chris Richardson’s “Geek in the Pink” performance was great too, and it was the one loved the most by the judges. He truly deserves the top 12 spot, but I hope he can do much more than just emulating Justin Timberlake.
Brandon Rogers is one of the best singers in this season, but he keeps picking up the wrong song. I think his problem is just as bad as Sanjaya’s (only that Sanjaya enjoys a lot of support from fans of many races). Too bad, for him though. His “Time After Time” rendition was okay, but it’s not the type of song that can hit the targets.
Nick Pedro sang “Fever”, it was okay. He surely scored points with his girlfriend as well, to whom he dedicated the song. A.J. Tabaldo scored high with the judges too when he sand “Feeling Good“, let’s see what happens on results night. Sundance Head is back in the game when he performed “Mustang Sally”, definitely a good come back from his boring performance last week.
Results in two days…Keep the faith people.:-)
